In addition to Jennifer’s post-graduate counseling experience, she worked as a licensed substance abuse counselor in Texas and in New York State during the 1990’s, and later held positions in clinical program management and development. She has worked extensively with individuals as well as groups, providing counseling for grief and loss, depression, relationships, stress, substance abuse and dual diagnosis. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and Certified Life Coach, Jennifer draws on more than fifteen years of combined clinical experience as well as ongoing training and consultation. In addition to traditional education and training, Jennifer studied meditation with various teachers beginning in the early 1990’s. She is able to apply this experience in her work with clients when there is interest in its use for relaxation and stress management.
